Overcast, mild & humid. Arose 8 A.M. Breakfast & twalay. Cleaned cellar, cut up wood etc. Dinner. Down town. Shower at Y. Supper. H.H. and I to Delanson a la Ford with his goods. Took walk. Got him settled etc. Stayed over night. To bed 10:30 P.M.

I guess Hanford went to Delanson, NY for some reason. Perhaps for preaching internship? He may have worked at the Delanson Methodist Church, pictured below, built in 1878. The parsonage, on the right, is almost as old, having been built in 1886. That may be where Stanford stayed that night.
