Beautiful, bright and cool. Arose 7 A.M. To breakfast with H.H. To College 9-12 A.M. To Library. To B.U.S.T. Over and hired room at 68 Westland Ave. Back to 72. Wrote letter home. Lunch. Took suit case and moved over to 68. Wrote in diary etc. To bed 10 P.M.

Below is a Google Street View photo of the address as it looks today. It is an apartment building now but must have been a rooming house in 1922.
The building was built in 1908, so was fairly new when Stanford moved in. I wonder how much he had to pay for his room? A two-bedroom apartment there now costs $3,000 per month.
