Beautiful and warm. Foggy in A.M. Arose 5 A.M. Breakfast etc. Mother, Nellie, Ruth, H.H. & I to Boston with Kissel 6:30 A.M. - 5 P.M. 200 miles. Beautiful trip over Mohawk trail. Folks stayed at 65 Haycock St. I with H.H. temporarily at School of Theology. To reception in evening. For walk with Ruth. To bed 11 P.M.

The place where Stanford's family stayed, 65 Hancock St, is in the Beacon Hill area of Boston. It is an apartment building now. Below is a picture of the building as it looks now.

The building might not look too pretty, but a 600 sq ft apartment there costs around $620,000. I guess it must be worth it to people who live there.l

Stanford doesn't say who lived at that address, but they must have been friends, probably through the church.
