Cool and overcast with some sunshine. Arose 7 A.M. Breakfast. Candled eggs, cut wood. Washed Kissel etc. Dinner. Played tennis with H.H. Family to Park site for dog roast. To Glenville Center to ice cream social. H.H. & I walked to city. To bed 12 P.M.

They seemed to have had a lot of ice cream socials around there! Maybe Stanford wanted to burn off some calories by walking to Schenectady.
