Overcast & mild. Some rain. Arose 6 A.M. Breakfast etc. Father, Mother, Nellie, H.H. & I out for trip. 8 A.M. - 8 P.M. 150 miles. Amsterdam, Canojoharie to Richfield Springs. Attended fair. Very common. To Cooperstown, Cobleskill & home. Fine ride. Talked. Read paper. To bed 10:30 P.M.

Must have been a fun trip. Here is a possible route:

Cooperstown's Baseball Hall of Fame was not founded until 1936, but that year there were two NY teams at the top of the rankings: the Giants and the Yankees. The World Series that year between those two teams took place Oct 4-8. The Giants won 4 of 5 games with one tied game. The Yankees had Babe Ruth and the Giants had Casey Stengel, among others of note.
